I just got this computer error and for some reason it made me chuckle…

The problem has occurred looks like a hardware problem. If you have
bad blocks, we advise you to get a new hard drive, because once you
get one bad block that the disk drive internals cannot hide from
your sight,the chances of getting more are generally said to become
much higher (precise statistics are unknown to us), and this disk
drive is probably not expensive enough for you to you to risk your
time and data on it. If you don’t want to follow that follow that
advice then if you have just a few bad blocks, try writing to the
bad blocks and see if the drive remaps the bad blocks (that means
it takes a block it has in reserve and allocates it for use for
of that block number). If it cannot remap the block, use badblock
option (-B) with reiserfs utils to handle this block correctly.

Ada finished her 3rd and last birthday celebration with my father and her immediate family on Saturday. It was also my fathers 63rd birthday and a celebration for my aunts 62nd birthday, which is a week later (yeah, my father and his sister were exactly one year and 5 days apart). So, since they all have thier birthdays withing about 2 weeks of each other we decided to throw a big party. Melissa made lots of good foods, we had cupcakes for Ada and a birthday cake for my aunt and dad. A good time was had by all.

Everyone has been saying that Ada is turning into a “daddy’s girl”. I think thats just Mel’s way of getting me to take her when she needs her diaper changed.

It took her a while to get into the cupcake, but she finally did and enjoyed it very much.

Happy Birthday, Ada! Today is Ada’s first birthday. I snapped a couple of pictures this morning to mark the occasion. My friend Jeffrey and his wife Michele are taking us out to eat at On The Border tonight where we will treat Ada to one of her favorite foods, avacodo!
