We went out for breakfast at First Watch today and then stopped by Target on the way home for diapers, etc.  While we were there we decided to check and see if there were any Wii Fits in.  No luck with the Wii Fits, but they did have the new Guitar Hero Aerosmith and since we were needing another wireless guitar anyhow, we decided to pick it up.  It plays pretty much exactly like the Guitar Hero III, but contains mostly Aerosmith songs.  Not a bad game, but I kind of wish it had been a Rock Band version so that it would include microphone and drum set play.

Today is Ada’s first day of attending preschool at Googols Of Learning. We had been trying to tell her the past couple of days that she would be going to preschool, but she was still plenty unaware of what we were doing when we got her early this morning and got her dressed, telling her that she needed to put her shoes on and get ready to go bye-bye.

Ada took pretty well to the new environment. There was only one other kid there when we dropped her off (Googols had just re-opened after moving locations so the rooms aren’t full yet) but Ada just went over and started playing. She was a little hesitant when Melissa and I gave her hugs and told her we would see her later, so it will be interesting to find out how her day went.

Little Mac started taking his first couple of steps a few weeks ago. I caught one of his first little trips across the house on video. He’s got it now pretty good now and he’s walking all over the house.

This is a short clip of the video that I shot when we took Ada to the zoo on her 3rd birthday. While she did enjoy seeing some of the animals, her favorite part of the trip was the playground equipment. Melissa and I even make a comment that she probably would have been just as happy if we had taken her to the city park just a few blocks from our house.
