I’m old enough to remember when Mtv actually played music videos on television.  Now they have recently made a large number of music videos available online.  Here is one for the Halloween season – Michael Jackson’s Thriller Video.  I remember being a kid and being totally frightened when during the Vincent Price narration.

I’ve been a fan of Michael Moore ever since I watched Roger And Me when it was screened for my Introduction To Theatre And Film class at KU.  While I think Moore’s focus on his political agenda in his recent films has caused the overall quality to suffer, I still think they make for some good entertainment.  His most recent release, Slacker Uprising, is being made available free for download or streaming online.

It was just released today and I’ve been trying to download it to watch later, although it looks like everyone else is probably doing the same as the download is pretty slow.

I mentioned it last year, and I’ll mention it again this year. I just got my annual free credit reports from https://www.annualcreditreport.com/ Well, I got Experian and Equifax anyway, TransUnion didn’t like the data I put in so I had to call in and verify and they are mailing my report to me. Always have to make sure nobody has opened an Express charge card in my name again….

The Beastie Boys have a new video release coming out at the end of this month. Awesome, I Fuckin Shot That is a concert video compiled from footage shot by audience members at the Madison Square Garden performance.

Should be cool. I still need to find a VHS-to-DVD conversion of Thier first original concert video.

Don’t ever put off telling someone how much you appreciate their friendship, as sometimes it will be too late.
